Disclaimer

The information on this website is designed to give a taste of our “Skills with People” training course. On the course we don’t merely tell people how they should behave (even if such advice is good it rarely sticks as people inevitably revert to their old mental habits, especially under pressure). Because few people can hold on to difficult new skills unless they have lots of practice the course typically spans 6 months. It is designed to provide lots of private and confidential one-to-one coaching so participants carefully explore how to handle difficult conversations while receiving lots of guidance and practice. Reading this material is unlikely to be an adequate substitute for 30 hours individual and small group training.

So although the material on this website might look straightforward that doesn’t make it easy to learn. It can take considerable practice, feedback and coaching to successfully manage crucial and difficult conversations. We are therefore neither responsible nor liable if the material on this website is used by persons who subsequently find themselves in difficulties.
