Here’s how to turn an objection into a yes:
- Don’t rush to answer it.
- Instead, slow down and try to understand the concern behind it.
- Check that the person you’re talking to feels fully understood.
- Try to address their concern.
- Ask if they’re now ready to say yes.
- If not, either you failed to address their concern, or they’ve another objection. Keep going round this cycle until you get a yes.
