Honesty without harm - a management training course
Here’s how to be honest without causing harm or offence:
- Don’t criticise without first praising, otherwise it seems as if you can’t think of anything good to say – which is probably neither honest nor true.
- Don’t express your criticism as an opinion, otherwise people will feel attacked and want to argue back.
- Don’t criticise them as a person - but only something they’ve said or done.
- Don’t generalise - that’s what can cause harm.
You can learn and practise the art of being honest helpfully and without causing harm or offence on our highly acclaimed London UK management training course, “Skills with People”.
But how can you be sure this training in honesty without harm is for you?
