Giving criticism that works - a management training course
How can you give criticism that works?
- Start with generous praise. Provided it’s genuine and specific, this will enhance the power of your criticism.
- Stick to facts that can’t be argued with, for example, “I felt very let down that you didn’t get your report to me in time.”
There’s only one possible response to this: “Oops! Sorry! It won’t happen again.”
You can learn and practise how to give criticism that on our highly acclaimed London UK management training course, “Skills with People”.
But how can you be sure this course in giving criticism that works is for you?
